The Cancer and Beyond Group originated from Whaddon HealthCare and is now joined by Red House Surgery & Cobbs Garden.
It was found that after patients completed their treatments and regular hospital visits had stopped, that they wanted some further support. Some patients were struggling to live their lives beyond cancer and some had suffered financial hardship, relationship breakdowns, loss of employment etc. The aim is to reach out and support these needs through our group We are delighted to invite you to our first C&B zoom meeting on the evening of 15th April. It’s been a while since we have been able to be face to face.
We have Carmen Kane, who is a Therapist and trainer at Wellbeing: Just What We Need, who will be
talking to us about anxiety, something that we all experience at some point during our lives, and particularly during the pandemic. Followed by some time to meet new members of the team, discuss future meetings and events, and finishing with our usual Q&A with some of the network’s GPs.
